FAQs

General Herbal Questions

+ What is an herbal tincture?

A tincture is a concentrated liquid extract made by steeping herbs in alcohol or glycerin. They’re easy to use, shelf-stable, and a simple way to incorporate plant medicine into daily wellness routines.

+ How do I know which herbs are right for me?

Every body is unique. We provide detailed product descriptions and traditional uses for each herb and blend. If you’re unsure, reach out and we’ll be happy to guide you toward products that fit your wellness goals.

+ How long does it take for herbal products to work?

Some remedies like teas and rollers may provide more immediate effects, while tinctures and tonics often work best with consistent daily use over time. Think of herbs as supporting your body’s natural processes rather than offering a quick fix.

+ Are herbs safe to take with medications?

Some herbs can interact with prescription medications. Always consult your healthcare provider before combining herbal remedies with prescriptions, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition.

+ Are herbal remedies safe for kids?

Many herbs are gentle enough for children, while others are best reserved for adults. Always read product descriptions carefully and consult your pediatrician when using herbal products for kids.

Product Use & Tips

+ How do I use an essential oil roller?

Roll onto pulse points like temples, wrists, or the back of your neck. Each roller is blended with herbs and essential oils to target specific needs.

+ How should I store my herbal products?

Keep them in a cool, dark place—like a cabinet or pantry. Out of direct sunlight for best results. DIY Elderberry Syrup is best kept in the fridge.

+ Do your products expire?

Most items are best within 18 months. Fresh herbal tinctures and salves may vary slightly depending on ingredients, but we always include a suggested use-by date.

+ Do your products contain allergens?

Most of our products are free from common allergens, but always check the ingredient list. We clearly label items that contain ingredients like coconut oil, beeswax, or essential oils.

+ Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Many are! Products with beeswax or tallow are clearly labeled. All others are plant-based and always cruelty-free.
